Bruno Ryckaert started Oftahils in 2016 in Galmaarden, the region of the "mattentaarten." He is manager and owner.

The name Ofta-hils has two parts. The first part refers to ophthalmology; the specialization in technical equipment for eyes. The second part refers to the names of his family members (Hilde, Liesbeth and Sofie). Understand all of this as a caring service with a personal approach.

Bruno Ryckaert is officially recognized as an expert in ophtalmology. He was appointed by the chamber of commerce in Belgium, which makes him unique in Belgium.
